XFN&#8482; (XHTML Friends Network) is a simple way to represent human relationships using hyperlinks. In recent years, blogs and blogrolls have become the fastest growing area of the Web. XFN enables web authors to indicate their relationship(s) to the people in their blogrolls simply by adding a 'rel' attribute to their <a href> tags, e.g.:

简言之，就是：假如你在 Blog 上做了其他人的 Blog 的友情链接，你可以用这个技术标识出你和被你做链接的这个人的关系。当然，如何解析出这个“关系”得靠他们的程序。
