问题：
在程序或链接文件上点击"附加到开始菜单"的方式增加到开始菜单里的快捷方式，出现删不掉的情况：
点击右键菜单中的"从列表中删除"，没有反应。
点击右键菜单中的"从开始菜单脱离"，也没有反应。
也不能"重命名"。
在源文件删除后点击出现的对话框中移除也无效。
注册表里也找不到对应项。

解决方案：
打开注册表编辑器(开始菜单->运行->regedit)，打开项：
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartPage
删除 Favorites 值(如果你觉得需要备份的话，改名也可以)，其他的不用动。
这时打开开始菜单，应该已经空了(没空的话重新设置一下开始菜单，当然重启也行了)，然后点击一下鼠标右键。如果你默认显示Internet Explorer和Outlook Express的话，应该就马上出现了。
然后，重新加一下那些快捷方式吧。(没有研究怎么直接删除，二进制的，看着累。)

I placed a shortcut on the start menu (above the frequent programs list), using "Pin to Start Menu". Somehow or other, the shortcut cannot be removed:
Right click on the icon, select "Remove from this list", nothing happens.
Right click on the icon, select "Unpin from Start Menu", nothing happens.
Click the shortcut to run it, it says "The item you selected is not available. it might have been moved, renamed, or removed. do you want to remove it from the list?", select yes, nothing happens.
Right click, select "Rename", edit and submit, nothing happens.
Search through the registry for anything named as it, and it doesn't turn anything up.

A:
Open registry editor(Start Menu | Run | regedit ). Open the key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartPage
Delete the value named "Favorites"(If you want to backup it, just rename it).
Open Start menu, if nothing changed, configure the start menu or just reboot the computer.
Your Start menu now has no user-defined items pinned to it, only the Windows-supplied Internet and e-mail items.
Now, pin your favorites. Good luck! :)
